Clerk of the District Court

The clerk of the court is an officer of the court whose duties are ministerial in nature (i.e., administrative). Deputy clerks are bestowed with the same ministerial duties. The chief judge in each judicial district is required to appoint a clerk of the district court in every county. (K.S.A. 20-343).
